Ever wondered why we are so charitable?
For instance, we are going over to
We are spending Billions over there tearing that mess apart and getting them on their feet. Now we are helping save 7 Russians in a special operation. Well I know they aren't as bad as the terrorist who blow up buildings and busses, but they are not saints either. I am not saying we shouldn't help these people... just saying, Look at what we are doing in this world.... helping people.... and how many people have you heard in the media in the last couple of years talking about how we are so cold hearted and cruel. We need to be helping the poor, feeding the starving in
What is enough? I think we should only send them Food. Food that can feed the poor… not food the wealthy want… food that the starving can eat. Then we should make sure that the people over there are giving it to them. Yes that may be a police action, but how else do we make sure our dollars are spent right. That is probably the only real beef I have with the aid programs… the aid doesn’t get to the people it should.
Think about it… are we doing enough? Are we doing to much? How about here in our own country. A country with a dream, a purpose, a real opportunity. It is there for everyone. Why should we subsidize the dream. Make those who have sacrificed their life to come to this country, feel short changed because they didn’t have to sacrifice… they could have just ask for it and it would have been provided.
I say work for it.. go for it.. it feels better.
